      • Both Plan I and Plan II provide benefits for covered medical services after a $250 deductible per condition has been satisfied. The Plan then pays 80% of the usual and customary charges up to $10,000 of incurred covered medical expenses and 100% of additional covered medical expenses not to exceed the policy maximum
      • To maximize benefits, it is recommended that the Rutgers University Health Centers be utilized when feasible
      • There are limitations and exclusions to this plan, kindly refer to the certificate [COMING SOON]. For instance, the policy specifically excludes coverage for the treatment of allergies or acne and related prescriptions

      Coverage for Spouse and Children

The Health Services Plus Plan I or Plan 2 can be purchased for your spouse, domestic partner, and dependent children. The spouse or dependent coverage would need to be the same plan as the student. The fees for the spouse and dependents are available online at Aetna Student Health website.

      How to Submit Claims

Present your Aetna Health insurance card to the provider when you are receiving services. Most providers will submit the bills to Aetna Student Health directly. If they do not, itemized bills (with the providers name, address, tax ID, diagnosis code, and procedure code, date of service and amount billed) can be submitted to Aetna at the following address:

      Aetna Student Health
      P O  Box 15708
      Boston, MA 02215-0014
      877-381-3552

Payment will be made directly to the provider unless bill receipts and proof of payment are submitted. An Explanation of Benefits (EOB) will be mailed to you when a claim is processed. If you have primary insurance, the itemized bill and the primary EOB needs to be submitted to the above address.
